Slightly disappointed with Dallas' lack of activity in Free Agency

McFadden's YPC the last THREE seasons....3.3. I get that the price is right, but sometimes you get what you pay for

D Mac sucks and I wanted no part of him, but I knew that he would end up in Dallas. Dumbass Razorbacks! I don't really care how cheap he is, Cowboys would be better just drafting a RB and giving him plenty of touches to get acclimated and learn the NFL. I realize he isn't going to be the primary back, but I still don't want him, unless this means they are getting rid of Randle.

I'm sure he's very cutable should he play himself that direction. One cut backs can do well with this scheme and line play. How else did Randle look the NFL back part last year on limited occasions?

Is this Dunbar's replacement? Or are we in the market for two of these guys?

Yeah I hope I am surprised and he finally proves something. The Oline likely makes him look better than he did in Oakland for certain

well...it would be a step back to stupidville if this team thought dmac and the current group were enough. I'm certain they have an eye on a back or two

I'm thinking these days that's a stupid question

I think I am going to be sick...

Definitely not a fan of McFadden, but if he still has his speed, maybe we can catch lightning in a bottle. Okay, now back to reality...

This move is moronic, and it's almost nepotism. I say nepotism because we all know if McFadden was a Florida Gator and not Arkansas Razorback, he would definitely not be a Cowboy today.

I guess baby (Jerry) has to have his bottle.

Oakland O-line versus Dallas O-line tho? Dallas has 3 pro bowlers.. Sorry I think that O-line made Murray. Murray got his money and will now see 8 in the box like Steven Jackson did with Bradford. I don't think Murray will be nearly as good as he was with Dallas.

That is a huge disparity between Offense and Defense, but in the NFL QBs make the big cash. If you take Romo out of the equation it's pretty much exactly 50/50.

I'm starting to wonder if we just let Dez play out the year on the tag. There was pressure to sign him and lower his cap number to sign Murray, but what benefit is there now? I guess you can say he will get a huge 5 year deal this year or next year, so might as well start the clock while he is a year younger and thus a year more likely to still be worth it at the end of the deal.

We already have plenty of cap room to operate this year. Like I said the other day, did we restructure Smith too early? Maybe it would have been better to wait in case we didn't need all of the space this year and just chip away at some more of his cap hit this year. I still see McClain in our future and bet we sign a DE or two - could be our FAs or some others. Wonder what their thoughts are on Hardy
I think we need to be all in on Hardy. This then gives us the flexibility to take best player available in the draft. Rather it be DE, CB, RB, or S

Not sure how I feel about Hardy. I wonder how Jason Garrett feels about him?

Hardy is a tremendous talent, but I'm not sure he is the right fit for this team and head coach. I was a big detractor of Garrett for his first few seasons -- but he has shut me up completely. As a fan I am now content to let Garrett see his vision through. I just think bringing in a guy like Hardy is counterproductive to the attitude that Garrett has been working to instill in this team. Hardy is obviously a low character guy -- if you believe all the reports of what allegedly happened between he and his significant other. Personally, I would pass, but if Garrett and Marinelli are on board then so am I.

Dashon Goldson is a FA. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Cowboy uniform. I'll give him a mulligan for his two years in Tampa. He was very good in San Fran.

Now sign hardy. Not a bad signing. Now we need to draft a guy to complement Dunbar and mcfadden.

Talk about the perfect experiment to see who Murray was or is.

I agree....counterproductive to the environment being set

In the last 25 years, no RB with the amount of carries Murray had in 2014 has ever hit 1000 yards the next season. Philly is in trouble. Not only do they have coward at QB, they have a beaten down RB now that just got all his money. WITH who on the Oline? WRs? I will assume Chip goes after some WRs in the draft, along with Oline.
