I'm hoping with a better pass rush, his play will be infinitely better. He didn't have an ideal situation in TB to showcase his skill set from what I'm hearing. He excelled with the he Niners and SM is familiar with his talent. Since its a low risk contract, it's definitely an upgrade for us.

Yep, we can only hope that will be the case. But he's got to be a huge upgrade over Clark. That's not saying a whole lot, but it's the truth. Kudos to SM. I feel a whole lot better with our secondary.

The safety position is set. Gholsten, Johnson, Thomas, and Nacho. Looks like Hall is going to make the team as the 4th CB. Can we scratch off CB and S off the draft list? I really wanted Waynes but it doesnt seem logical right now.

Now to my new team, the Washington Redskins. I want you all to kno how excited my family and I are to be part of this strong organization. Ive been a fan of the team for awhile. One of my favorite players (Sean Taylor) set the tone for the position for years there. I'm not Sean but Im honored to be patrolling the same playgrounds as he did. I'll do my best on makin him happy from the position as he watches down on us as a secondary. To the fans this is gonna be a fun and exciting ride. Our goal as a team will be simply to whoop ass and take W(wins). Those who dnt know much about me I luv to play this game. I will bring an attitude for sure to this defense. With the experience and knowledge Ive accumulated throughout I will do everything to make those better around me. I don't think there are many of us who see MM being picked.

Is it in play? I'm sure it is. But will it happen? Doubt it myself.

I'm sure SMs board is fluid and will consistently change as we head towards the draft. Gotta trust him in terms of talent evaluation and fit. It's why we hired him.

I really like what Scot has done so far. It seems like his goal is to fix one side of the ball at a time. I like Schreff a lot, but dropping a Beasley or whomever at olb with what he's already put in place on D could really change this team.

The defense has been a major issue. Maybe he's thinking if he can field a competent defense and find a QB that can get the ball out on time, this team can win a lot of games.

For the first time in a long time, there appears to be a definitive plan in place.

This is my understanding from what I know about him. The lack of a pass rush hurt him in Tampa. Which is another reason why I hope SM decides one of the OLB pass rushers is the best value at 5.

Last year we had a lot of problems but nothing as glaring as the secondary and that includes the OL. Not only could they not cover or tackle anyone but they were downright embarrassing at times as they let WRs run literally uncovered for big TDs. This was easily the weakest unit on the team. Now they have one remaining player from that unit and he was the only guy in the secondary worth a damn in Breeland. These are huge upgrades.

I can live with going into the draft with that list of needs.

I believe final details of the contract have still yet to have been released by the skins yet. So we still do not know exactly the terms yet.

But low risk, an excellent job yet again.

Yes! We're no longer hitting the FA HR, like we used to do. If it was the past, we'd have signed Ndamukong Suh. That's something I did not want. This offseason, needs were filled and lots of money was not spent to do it. We've added Chris Culliver, Ricky Jean-Francois, Dashon Goldson, Michael Hill, Jeron Johnson, Terrance Knighton and Stephen Paea. They all fill needs as starters or as role-players. Love it!
