A question popped into my mind this morning while riding into work today. Where was the defense of a 4,000 yards, 25+ TDs per year guy? Kaep was never that good.

Clearly there was plenty of support here, and I suspect in other places as well. We can all agree and disagree on whether or not he should have stayed, but why when it was clear very early on that his time here was limited? Bruce an Co. merely extended the misery for those hoping for a LTC.

Now you guys can be naysayers but a simple search will tell you that I was the only poster in the 2015 off season writing that this team should trade Kirk. I repeated it every year during those horrific one year deals. We got nothing for him as everyone tried to will this team into signing him long term. How did that work out for you guys?

Not at all...but almost every example was justified.
