Real nice pick up far as Swearinger goes, but if the Skins see him as a SS what are they gonna do with Cravens? Move him to WLB?

Yep. Seriously, that's about twice the amount I though he would get. Not great in coverage but makes big hits & can tackle. Maybe he plays better at SS if that is where Was plays him.

I know, but that doesn't preclude the Skins from seeing him as a SS which he has also played.

Yeah, he's played both safety positions. He's a much better player than the previous 2 free agents the Skins signed, imo. And he's younger - at 25. Good sign, and this is a good sign. Looking forward to seeing him and Cravens as the 2 safeties.

Jefferson was not the SS. Swearinger is know for his hitting making him a SS.

Remember, at least with our previous D-coordinator, there wasn't much difference between the FS and SS positions.

FTR, he was listed at FS on the AZ depth chart.
