It's happening...
Thanks for the Vikings fan insight. Was going to ask ya about him in the NS threadClassy guy. Very cerebral. All the best to him. Was hoping he'd remain unsigned until we were deeper into the season, in the event of any injuries to our own O-line.
The knock on him, is that he is a low blocker (using more of his back than his legs) and was getting pushed back quite a bit in scrimmages/joint practices with Cincy, and also in practice.

Did I read something somewhere about his stance possibly being an issue with regards to putting unneeded pressure on his back injury?I actually like him a lot. He's a great interview, and I was really hoping that he'd get on the radio more here until things shook out. He kind of went into hiding (can't blame him), but there was no question that some team wouldn't come calling sooner or later. It's what happens to linemen that are above average, but not there physically anymore. I just figured it'd be here...![]()

Where did you see he is starting?
Highly unlikely this Sun. Tho, Jay said he could step in for Long, if needed. Eg, Long needed at LG was how I saw that.I pulled it from Dean's quote which clearly was from an article the way it was written. Sounds crazy to me too.
