Redskins signed OT Austin Howard, formerly of the Colts.

31-year-old Howard was among Indianapolis' final cuts. He is needed in D.C. after the Redskins lost two starting offensive linemen for the season.

Redskins signed OG Jonathan Cooper and C Luke Bowanko.

Both have starting experience in the league. Cooper is a failed former first-round pick who got cut by San Francisco toward the end of training camp.

When the team is placing multiple OL starters on IR with 8 games to go, its season over. Hell, it seems it was season over when the trade for AS was made. Either way, we had issues with the starting five, now 3/5 are gone until TW's gets back but I see no way to recover from these injuries once again. If and when this season goes South, I would like to see the organization make a culture change from the emotionless Gruden approach to a hungrier, vocal more creative coach with a real vision. Don't know who that guy is but he is out there among the many assistants in the NFL or even college ranks. I have seen enough of Jay Gruden games to understand who and what he is all about.
