You guys are nuts. Football is like the lottery... you have to pay to play. Here we have a QB "finally" who seems to be a true competitor, and you guys want to toss him because he wants to much money. Here we have a QB "finally" who makes quick decisions and doesn't seem to be injury prone... and you guys want to toss him because he wants to much money. Here we have a QB who is quite accurate and you guys want to toss him because he wants to much money. Do you want to just keep bringing in new guys at the position and when they start to excel toss em because they're now asking for too much. Do you ever want to compete for a championship year after year? because you're not doing that with new guys year after year. Stop effing around and pay the man and let's play ball. It's the cost of doing business.

we are not nuts , no one on this board with any sense wants KC to walk nor does the FO . its a negotiation and it will get worked out via the franchise tag or a long term deal

its a low ball offer. No way KC agrees to that. 16-18 mil should be the target for KC. I do think KC will get 15m in FA if we put the transition tag on him.

i dont believe the offer in the first place . i bet the hold up is language in the contract . i would say that there are a few teams , cleveland and houston who would easily off 20 mil for a starting qb of his caliber and even considering the transition tag would be foolish and gmsm wont do that

Redskins need to just franchise him and possibly trade him to the Browns for their 1st round pick I think he is not going to live up to expectations next season and we will be in the market for a QB again

why would the browns give up a number one for a one year rental ?

as for expectations i think he will hover around what he did last season

Why take 15M when he knows he will be free to talk to any team, or get over 19M with the tag and still negotiate a long term deal.
The Franchise tag is worth 19M. Where did I say it is worth 15M?

This is the scenario I see as likely. They tag him just to retain his rights while continuing to negotiate a long term deal. Hopefully it's got a few outs like the Niners with Kap.

Speaking of Kap what a dumb ass. He feels disrespected, I guess that little part about him sucking ass for 2 years is irrelevant, so he is now seeking a trade. This after the Niners surprised a lot of people by picking up his option.
Former head coach Harbaugh was the guy that traded Alex Smith to KC because he thought Kaepernick was so great.

Let's say Browns trade their first for Cousins we could draft Bosa then Maybe Lynch falls to us at 21 we gotta look at all options

so let me get this straight , the browns will give up their # 2 draft pick overall for a guy you say will fall off a cliff as a one year rental ?????

then you compound the issue by drafting the over rated bosa and hope that the over rated lynch is there at 21

lets clear this up for you none of the qbs in this draft are year one starting qbs and will play like franchise guys

so why set the franchise back a couple of years when you can simply franchise the qb for a year and either he plays well or he flops in which case qb options could open up

Well considering you said he should take the offer, and the reported offer is 15M I have to believe you are talking about 15M. Had you said he should force the tag and negotiate there would be much less confusion in what you mean.

Actually not paying him and going after an over rated rookie, or some over rated free agent QB that the entire league realizes wasnt worth the stress is a Cerrato move.

1) What makes people think KC will regress with healthy players returning and a likely upgrade at the center position? Especially after improving so much during the season?

2) is it possible we keep RG3 to trade him? Hear me out. His contract becomes guaranteed on March 9 but if we trade him after that and he works out a deal with say...Houston...that contract becomes void. Houston won't give him 16 million this season but may be willing to offer him a smaller contract with 16 mil in guarantees over a couple of years.

3) is it also possible we don't have all the information regarding contracts and rules?

first of when you have an avg qb you need a strong defense . we dont have that but lets go on and look at out cap space

we have 12 mil now with adjustments to the NFL cutting RG 3 give us 28 mil , cutting riley 32 , cutting roberts 36, golston 44 , stieger 48 , culliver 54 mil see where i am going with this coach ? you pay KC 20 mil and we still have 34 mil for free agents and get this i havent gone after garcon (10 mil ) jackson (9 mil ) or even hall at 4 mil or hatcher

the debate about cap space is foolish we have plenty

so i think we will keep hatcher , (because the cap hit is less cutting him next year ) garcon and jackson and most likely stieger

now lets talk about qbs bradford will cost as much as KC and he is more of a risk health wise

as the draft goes hackenburg was awful last season and he isnt a year one starter jones has about 7 career starts and couldnt beat out his competition at OSU connor cook is such a lousey leader he couldnt get invited to team party's and is KC lite at best

that is a huge step backwards and add to it a tougher schedule and we would be looking at 5 wins tops with either one of those guys if they could beat out colt mccoy

so how about we think rationally , put emotion aside and let this play out before we get silly ?

Here we have a QB who is quite accurate and you guys want to toss him because he wants to much money.

I like Cuz and I hope they get a deal done, but according to one of the tweets that Cali posted. While Cuz led the NFL in comp %. He was only 20th far as accuracy went.

I tried finding some sites that rated accuracy among NFL QBs in 2015, but had very little luck doing so.
