I’d go for Heinicke not for what he showed in the playoff game, for that he had nothing to lose and no film on him. But rather, for what I think he could show with a full offseason with the team, the chance he never got, and more experience. Only extend if it seems right next year. Durability is an issue and adjustments to teams’ adjustments to him is needed.

If Taylor started the whole year, we are at least 9-7. Same with A.Smith.
I think Arob or Golladay want to get paid at this point and don't care as much about the QB. I don't understand why there's so much uncertainty about a young guy with a decent arm that knows the system. This is a huge plus!

9 quarters of action and a BU in the XFL would be my starting point

Not to mention, we lost momentum early with that Cam Sims drop, and several other costly drops.

The sun shines on a dogs ass every once in awhile
If you are referring to TH, you are full of you know what. As for the defense we played that game, it was non existent. We primarily rushed 4 and let TB pick us apart as he was rarely pressured during the game. Let me add this about TH, his QBR was highest of any QB vs the goat in the playoff's not named Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes. He navigated the offense fairly well for running out of classroom onto the football field to play a playoff game, vs the goat and Tampa's talented defense.
I'd say the sun was shining on TB that day.

After rewatching the final game I have made my choices with regards to this list. You all know my primary preference, so I'll begin with #2.

2. Moving up to get Justin Fields would be the next best move for this organization. If they aren't willing to do that then there's really only one of the next two options open now.

3. Dak Prescott ( newly re-signed in Dallas) so that's out.

4. Taylor Heinicke, who I see as getting a couple of early wins before defenses takes away a lot of those "spot" throws and forces him to adjust to their adjustments. Unfortunately, I believe that we have already seen the best of him and as a starter this team finishes in the 3-13, 4-12, 5-11 range but nothing better than that.

The rest of the field listed don't impress me at all and aren't worth any of the moves to get them. BTW; I wouldn't take MM even if released and would look to either move Allen or release him on a medical settlement. Time to get very serious about truly upgrading and settling the QB position long term. If it takes TH and yet another losing season to do that, so be it!!

I have seen enough RG 3 moves to say no . You don’t weaken our best position and give up picks for one guy .

I wouldn’t gut my team for a guy who is 28/25 over his starting career . I can live with 3 1sts for him but I really don’t like that either .
If for any reason that guy gets hurt badly then what ? He has had 2 acl injuries I believe before
