You ask me and I gave you my reply

Most of the FA qb's can give the numbers and maybe some can give you better numbers than those I just posted on KC

Actually if a QB is capable of throwing for 4500 yards on average as a starter... he isnt a FA. But dont let a little thing like logic slow your roll. After all, you want to give up a 1st rounder or more for a guy who has attempted all of 94 passes most of which were in mop up duty at the tail end of blow outs.

Yea.. he is going to cost a 1st rounder at minimum. Likely more. So we burn the #17 pick to get Grap, again ignore the D-line and IF Jimmy turns out to be simply as good as Cousins we are in the same situation again next year?? Brilliant.

I never said I would trade the 17th pick.

In 2015-16 we played a soft schedule in other words a 4th place schedule. The Skins were 0-4 vs teams with winning records. Now the Skins did beat the likes of TB, Bears and Rams who had a combined record of the three teams was 19-29. KC was 2-5 vs teams who were above .500

In 2016 we played a first place schedule that is they had to play other division champs. Minnesota, Carolina, and Arizona. We ended up 1 and 2 vs these teams who had a combined 21-26 record.

So you see KC is what he is. If our Skins have to depend on another soft schedule we had in 2015 to make the playoffs then that’s not good and this is what so far is what KC is. Beat team below .500 but cannot beat teams above .500. Most back QB can normally do this.

Actually he was 2-2 against division winners.. you left out Green Bay. But some how I dont think that was a mistake on your part. And again your statement holds no water. If any QB was capable of running an offense, you would not have teams scrambling to get a QB. Because by your logic, there are a ton of average QBs which is basically what you are saying Cousins is.

I said give me some one available, you threw out the name of Grap. So aside from giving up the #17 how else are we going to get him?? Or McCarron since i know some one will throw his name in the ring again as well.

Look Shark I know you are a KC fan. To be honest with you some of this is not KC fault. We do have a horrible Def. Hell I beleive some college teams can give our D a run for it's money. But you know Sahrk football games can be very deceitful sometimes b/c things don‘t go your way. For example you can have a horrible Def but there will be some games which your awful Def is playing well. This can be the result of many things, maybe the team in making to many mistakes are they having a bad day etc and your Def all of sudden is keeping you in the game. (The Carolina and the Giant games). This is were I have lost confidence in KC. You have to seize the moment and take advantage of what your sorry ass Def is giving on a silver platter. That last INT by KC (giants) was disheartening to me. He played like most of QB that are on the FA list now.

Gotta go Shark me and the Mrs are going out to eat. I'll talk to later when I have a more time. We just disagree but we both have a common desire. We want our Skins to make the PO's and eventually the SB. Good noight

Actually Im a Redskins fan and I want whats best for the team. It just so happens that Cousins is actually alot better than going back into a situation where we are desperate for an above average QB and start doing dumb shit chasing elite.

Bottom line, if Kirk has reached his ceiling and we get 4-5 years of 4000+ yards passing, 25 or more TDs and it allows us to improve our defense which has been bottom of the league for the last seven years.. Im all for it. Because lets be clear here.. unless we trade for Grap and he is NOT another Matt Cassell, we will be back in a situation where we trade a boat load of picks to move up to take the next cant miss QB.

The only QB in 20 years to have back to back winning seasons. Want to determine strength of schedule for each year and every QB in that time. :trash:

Did you conveniently forget he helped lead the team to the lead with 1:05 to go against Detroit only to watch the defense blow it and did you forget he led the team to a winning FG attempt versus Cincinnati only to see their kicker miss the FG. If you are going to use "facts" then use them all. He could have been better in those two games you mentioned but you did not give credit for the other two games.

I don't know how you can say Grap , or mccarron or mcgloin are demonstrably then KC . It's just as much a gamble to acquire them then to pay KC

And after 2 years as really being the starter you are willing to give up on him for 2 bad games?

Seems thin to me

Agreed, however, if his asking price a year ago was 20 million and they offered 16....well...I'm just sayin'

That's the difference between me and you . You are concerned with having the only QB in 20 years to have back to back winning seasons. My point is that QB can't win big games. You see that QB can't beat teams above .500 and most teams who make the PO's are above.500. No matter how you spin it KC is what he is. And what he is listed below

Kirk Cousins’ starting record: 19-21-1
Cousins’ record against teams with 9+ wins: 2-11
Teams with 8+ wins: 5-13

Yeap and you conveniently forget about that Giant's game which was a huuuuuuge game hint hint!!!!! I am not going to mention some of the games which KC choked at the end. Instead, I'm going to stay on point. KC simply does not have that it factor. I really don't hate KC but I am from show me TX. Show me you can win big games against teams above .500. Essentially I am just challenging KC after he made that stupid INT vs the Giants that cost us the PO's spot. Remember you can't blame our horrible D for that lost. That lost falls squarely on KC shoulder just like some other defeats which he again choked. I could care less about all the most TD's, most yds, the only QB in 20 years to have back to back winning seasons etc, it's good to have that but I am talking about winning big games especially when you have that game given to you on a silver platter and you choke!!!

Actually you did not read my posts where I said he did not play his best game. Pay attention now. It really helps.

You were right there is a lot of difference between you and I. I will leave it at that.

23-25 mil per season is a fair market deal. Anything less is not fair...that would be KC giving a break.

It is down right stupid to say Kirk cant beat teams above 500. The right thing to say is the redskins as a team have trouble beating the good teams because they have spent years spending all their resources trying to find a competent QB and now they have one. They can put the rest of a winning team together
