Anyone watching this? Just finished the pilot episode, seemed interesting enough, will proceed.

I've enjoyed it thus far. While I understand why they show it, the only minor thing I don't like is their lives outside of the group.

Its really good, I like Walter Goggins in just about anything he can have a southern drawl in. Unfortunately, I have not been able to stay awake thru the entire eposides, end up watching the second and falling asleep at the same time. I get the whole personal lives build up, they are showing how this guy was disjointed from the team that will probably be the ones risking their lives to get him.

Walton Goggins, Navy Seals blowing shit up, what's not to like? Show has likable characters on the Team, has potential

Yeah second episode was a big change from the first. Felt like I was watching a soap opera.

Really like Goggins. He is pretty damn funny in Vice Principals

dont like the gay side, tight pants guy in vice principals, but his role as venus van dam cracked me up in sons of anarchy. He is really good as laughter in american ultra and his da jango line,(only guy that mispronounced jango) walk in the moonlight lines in Django Unchained are awesome. He was great in Justified, really disappointed that one ended.

I like Goggins as an actor and this show has really gripping moments ... enjoyable ... but the scenes (this weeks episode especially) he has with the Seal team make me roll my eyes ... Physically, he is so thin that i cant believe he can out muscle anybody (lol) ...
and then when he breaks the neck of that Boko Haram dude who is like twice his size ... sure thing boss! :thumb:

Joe Manganiello in that role would certainly have been more believable ... oh well

I agree. Fantastic. The banter between Venus and Tig was comedy gold.

Loved "Sons" and Goggins role. I saw the after interviews when the show ended and Mark Boone, Bobby, said he had Goggins boobs at home on his mantel.

I laughed pretty hard when he said that. It is amazing how real they looked.

I can see how Tigg was drawn to them...such a weird couple with Tigg being the biker, macho dude.

I dont know, the big brawny seals dont work much in that role either, they cant possibly move fast and silent being so big. Look at the american sniper portrayals, either the movie or the Reelz hour program, just too big.

FWIW in college I had a friend that was on a carrier in the Navy. He said the Seals he met were smaller than he imagined. I guess a lot of their training has to do with being able to be quick and carry your own weight which makes it harder for the 6'5" ripped type candidates to make it through.

Anyways I just watched the pilot and it is good enough to keep me up for episode 2. Looks like a good one

Well, that was an interesting ending. I was wondering if this was a one season only show, but looks like it will continue
