I am actually very excited to see 3 of my all time favorite flyers play together. Justin Williams, Simon Gagne, and Mike Richards.

Please, for at least 1 shift can this be a line????

I’m thinking that the third line is not going to be in the Handzusian mold, though. Stoll is a good two-way guy, and he's very good in faceoffs, but he’s not the shutdown type. Richards and Kopi are well rounded defensively — they could alternate. So when Loktionov breaks in, he won’t have to do the heavy lifting.
They might just want to keep Lokti developing in the AHL until Stoll’s contract is done. But I really would like to see him up in the big club soon.
I think its the first time the Kings have not just 3 top line players but six. Assuming the Dustins can pick up their respective offensive numbers, any of those six guys could be on the top line of most teams in the league.
I also really like that both Penner and Gagne and only signed short-term because that does leave open the possibility of Toffoli, Kitsyn, Weal, and Vey joining the team over the next couple of seasons in top-6 positions.
I'm stoked!

Feck. Great signing for the Kings. They're going to be really tough next season. I have a feeling Mike Richards is going to have his best season in a long time. Say what you will about him, but when he's motivated, he's damn tough/good.

Congrats Hawaii and Dave. You guys should be the co-favorites if not THE favorites for the Pacific Division this season. I really like your offseason so far.

No she is pissed that the Ducks did in her words"nothing" this off season. I mention Sutton for Foster and she says that's nothing. She is also upset about Ruutu not staying. I don't know why on that one. Until the Kings get out of the first round she just points to her mini Stanley Cup and laughs

The Ducks need to find a way to improve their blueline. Selanne just had surgery so he needs to rehab. They have a contract on the table for him. The decision is his. Of course cap space is going to be an issue in a year or two. The Ducks are going to have to resign Getzlaf & Perry.
