I haven't seen a thread for this yet. Singleton was signed last night... Curious why the Eagles didn't tender their leading tackler of the last two seasons. Suppose they didn't think as a run stopper he was worth 2.5 mil... He should slide nicely opposite Jewell on sub packages. I would expect Singleton to play on early downs as he is a tackling machine with Browning coming in and out. This will likely spell the end of the Alexander Johnson and Kenny Young era in Denver. Singleton has also been a good special teams player during his career, tackling machine. Probably don't want him in on passing downs or rely on him every down. But we seem to be really focused on making sure we have added run stoppers on our D between Jones and Singleton. Singleton is a nice addition as long as we use him right and don't rely on him on every down and it appears that won't be the case here so that is good. Good role player.
