Sidney doesn't bother me at all because I don't care about the NHL hype machine. If I see an article with him in it on any of the websites I frequent.....I don't read them.

I like watching him play hockey though.

In fact, I didn't even know that Ottawa and Pittsburgh had a skirmish until I read the thread here, lol.

To be fair, Sidney carried the offensive load for his team in his first few games, and WILLED them to victory in all but one. And in that game Sid the Magnificent was dealing with the many emotions that come with returning to the NHL after a year long absence. My love for him will never fade. He is amazing. He is the NHL. He is Canada. He is hockey. He is...my sweet.

That's the shame of it. It's almost like it's imporssible to just appreciate the talent without having him forced upon us day after day. When it comes down to it, he's REALLY fucking good. I just can't stand hearing the name.

If it were his 10th-14th games then nope, but just the timing of it it. AND HE'S AWESOME OKAY!? DON'T QUESTION MY A-THOR-O-TAY!

I'm okay with having Crosby at first star only because it was his first week back in almost a year. How many players sit out 10 months of hockey and then put up nine points in their first four games back? That said, Schneider had a HELL of a week too, so I see where both sides are coming from.
