Shouldn't espn be tailoring to all 32 teams?

ESPN's job is to make money, not tailor to everyone.

Because ESPN tells them to.
Sad really. I live near Bristol where they are based. I haven't bothered with ESPN for info since the NFL network came out. ESPN is really a dirty word for me....I cringe everytime I hear or see it posted.

When the Carolina/NE game ended the way it did I knew Bristol, Connecticut was going to blow it's lid. It was going to be All Pats All Day All Time.

Yeah, the story was all about the Pats and the call. No mention of Newton's TD drive.

Exactly! Newton had the game of his career!

What was disgusting was watching Teddy Bruschi try to maintain his composure has he broke down the blown call play knowing all he wanted to say was "THIS IS BULLSHIT!"

Please be carefull for what you wish. If the NY Giants ever get tio 6-6 you'll never hear anything else from ESPN except what a great comeback the Giants are making, how freaking amazing they are, they're freaking wonderful. Believe me it'll be a fucking nightmare.

ESPN sucks, it is the last option, because of the games they locked up. ESPN survives on soccer bullshit and other silly sports, and survives with zero or above zero shitty advertisement. Some of the worst marketing I've ever seen.

Dallas sucks right now. Not always, which is why we have fans. In about 20 years it will hurt us since we aren't getting the young fans on board now. however, the people who enjoyed the success of the 60-70 and the generations of kids from the 90's are all big fans. They are also the age that spends money.

Guess who gets on TV?

Cowboys haven't won a playoff game since 1996, that's a long time ago. Seahawks can trump that, as can many others .

Myself ,I think it comes down to population density and as long as I get to watch the Seahawks, I'm good.

And they could definitely win their next 2-3 games. Luckily though, my team gets a chance to piss all over that parade if it happens.

I'm quite sure most people don't get their sports news and trivia off of that horrendous place. It is a toilet and abusive during game time, I change channel every time there is a break, keep them it in a window, and switch back when game starts again.

ESPN has and always will focus the most on the biggest market teams.

MLB network does a better job with trying to cover all of the teams than ESPN, but still, big markets rule.

Same with NFL network.

Quite frankly, I could care less about what teams ESPN decides to cover. I am very passionate about AZ sports and I understand 90% of the country could care less just like I could care less about the national coverage of the Cowboys, Yankees, Lakers etc.

Remember this, when you teams time does come, it makes it that much sweeter.

Why do people bother with that network anyway? None of the analysts would have the bandwidth to to analyze all the teams if they wanted to (and most of them don't bother to begin with). Most of the crap that comes out of their mouths has been fed to them from staffers who actually follow the teams.

ESPN is without a doubt East Coast bias. Anything East of the Mississippi gets preference. They totally deny this but their programming makes a liar out of them. How many times have you seen the Phoenix Cardinals or Seattle Seahawks on the nationally televised Sunday games, and how many timesd have you seen the Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, Jets, Miami, Colts, Pats, Giants. The only team from the Western part of the Country on national TV much is the Denver Broncos, and that I believe is because of winning with Peyton Manning. Are the San Diego Chargers any smaller of a market than the Miami Dolphins or The Seahawks any smaller than the Indianapolis Colts.

I know game schedules are set well in advance and the larger markets do get the lions share and that's understandable. However, ESPN does have the flexibility to change programming but simply choses not to do that. How many times most audiances sit through horrible performances with teams like Atlanta, Buffalo, Jets, Tampa Bay, Jaguers, etc. before they get to see teams like the Cardinals. Seahawks and Chargers?
