If we dont get a deal done by the franchise deadline, of course we have to franchise tag him. Other option is the lower tender with right of refusal. Let some one else do the heavy lifting as with the new CBA, its kind of hard to put poison pill deals together.

The new CBA could change everything, and not for the better for the teams. If the skins are smart, lock him up now. Its only going to get more expensive if you wait.

What's the rush to get a deal done? He's in the last year of his contract coming off a sub-par 2014 campaign that saw him get really beaten up. Let's wait to see how this year goes, if he returns to top form pay him, if not use the FT knowing that any team signing him would owe 2 #1's. There's no rush to do anything with TW.

resigning early sty would help with the cap . that is why you try to get it done . and look , we as fans must understand he wants to be the top paid LT in the NFL and he has the case made for it
