If not for WIlliams I'd say no. But since Williams was allowed then let Payton go as well.

Doesn't bother me if he goes to the game as a fan in the stands.

It's not like he's going to be giving the team signals with flags or hand signs and any other competitive advantage.

In fact you can argue it's in Payton's best interest to for the Saint's to lose since it won't be pinned on him, it gives him leverage in any contract talks to show how valuable he is to the team, and the more they bomb the higher draft picks for the draft when he does come back. Can you imagine the Saint's with a top 5 pick in this year's draft?
