I am enjoying this seasons games. Haven't missed a game. Well I might not make it until the end of late games but that's due to work not the quality of the game.

All in all I'm very pleased.

Following a record decline in TV ratings for the regular season, the NFL’s four divisional playoff games hit new lows, according to overnight ratings in the country’s biggest markets.

The amazing finish in the Saints-Vikings game on Fox earned a 21.8 overnight rating, down 23 percent from last year, according to Sports Media Watch. The TV audience for the game was the lowest overnight rating since 2009 and the third-lowest for the late Sunday Divisional Round game since 2002.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars-Steelers game, in which the underdog Jaguars won 45-42, drew a 20.4 overnight on CBS, down 7 percent from last year.

On Saturday, NBC’s Falcons-Eagles game drew a 17.4 rating — down 5 percent from last year.

The lowest-rated playoff game was the Titans-Patriots match-up, which drew a lowly 16.6 rating on CBS, down 9 percent — and the lowest since 2000.

Some people have stopped watching because of the protest, nobody wants to pay their hard earned money to watch a protest. It was neither time nor place for the protest. The rest of the common folk can't protest at their work while getting paid. Some players protested because others did, the protest started supposedly because of police brutality with guys like Bennett and Lynch leading the way, Bennett is a lying race baiter and Lynch is nothing but a clown, he stands for the Mexican National Anthem, as if police brutality is non existent in Mexico.

I'll be honest: I just don't LUUURVE the football like I used to.

I got other things occupying my time now, including two pre-teeners.

I'll watch at least one game on Sunday, usually the night cap, and maybe the Monday or Thursday games if they have a team I want to see. But I just don't spend 16 hours glued to the telly like I did back in the broadcast-only days, and neither does my son. He's got way too many other things to entertain him, like someone else mentioned earlier in the thread.

And even when I'm "watching" a game, it's really just on in the background while I read a book or do something on my tablet
