Not a huge fan of the picture but its crazy getting this amount of attention. Is this what's like being New England or New York Jets?

Hopefully this doesn't end up distracting the team with all this media attention.

I like it. It's like he's saying, "you want some"? Bring it on and then laughing.

I don't care about the distractions. Yes, the Hawks have to back it up and we all
believe they will but it's time we had some real swag to our squad. The days of
being a good team but with a "soft" rep are in the rearview.

Nothing wrong with getting some national pub, plus Pete won't allow this to be a distraction. I would have been more concerned if the Hawks got featured On Hard Knocks.

It's not the end of the world, I know that but I can't remember a time when we got this much media love ever. Not the 2001 M's, or the Seahawks after super bowl. As for the photo, I'm just done with the you mad bro, read it too many times with trolls or troll bashing, ect. I'm just ready to move on from that, and to me the photo just came across as bland.

As for the team I hope they don't get distracted, as they haven't done anything yet and I feel Wilson won't let them get too far ahead of them selves. But it is human to get too high on oneself. Which would/could affect us in Carolina by coming out slow in the first half or allowing them to hang around.

The only Seattle team that got that much national pub before the season started were the Sonics during the Kemp/Paton era and the early Ray Allen/Rashard Lewis era. I agree that teams pump there chest before the season starts and fall flat, but I feel with the way the season ended the Seahawks are going to be fully motivated and any national pub they receive is just going to be an after thought until they can dethrone the Niners for the division and get to the Super Bowl. If the Hawks start off slow, then yes they thought to highly of themselves and shame on them.

It was a cool article and seeing RS with his family as a kid was nice.

What I didn't know and it really wasn't a big surprise was the fact that PC
recruited Sherman out of Compton. Was in Dominguez HS?

Pete went to Sherman's HS and apparently, Sherman needed to take some
exam so Pete waited in the office for 2.5 hours.

Almost the similar story to Christine Michael who was the #1 rated RB
coming out of HS (tied with Bryce Brown and Trent Richardson.)

I don't mind some trash talking to get in the players heads as long as Sherm's ego doesn't get to big and his performance suffers from it.
