I think he definitely left his feet. No issue with the timing of the hit for me.

Personally, I'd like to see him get a few games. First questionable hit of the season, set the tone right away that this shit won't fly.

But Clarkie didn't leave his feet & it looked like a brutal but legal hit. I think leaving his feet is where Shanny's gonna get Schenn. Couldn't find a video of the Clarkson on Timonen hit yet... but here's the pic.

I didn't think that was even worth a penalty. Maybe because it was like a second after the whistle. But certainly neither worthy of a suspension.

I would agree. A bit hard to say w/o a close-up shot, but it seemed to me that Schenn left his feet AFTER the collision; a result of the force of impact + body in the way causing a change of trajectory.

i'll be honest i was shocked he didnt get a penalty.. even at live speed it looked like he left his feet to me.. and even if he didn't, you don't have to leave your feet to get called for charging.. he took off from near center ice to level a guy at the circles

based on the NHL's history of the result mattering, schenn shouldn't get suspended.

if they actually wanted to get rid of stuff like this, the result wouldn't matter and schenn should get suspended.

i enjoyed the hit though. devil go boom.
