Shelley Out 4 Weeks

So, the man with no place on this team that continues to play finally gets taken out by a errant puck. Apparently a deflection off of Nodl broke his orbital bone.

Ha seriously I don't hate Shelley, I just hated dressing him and carbomb in the same games. That being said Lavy will be forced to play the playoff roster at this point, I am interested to see what he goes with.

What i want: Zherdev
What i think i'll get: Nodl

I'm not worried because Shelley was never going to see the ice during the playoffs anyway. He's strictly muscle for the regular season.

It's officially time to load up three scoring lines and get after it offensively. I would start Nodl and Zherdev over Shelley and Carcillo in a heartbeat, especially in the playoffs. It's just very discouraging to dress a player and see them not even worthy of double digit minutes.

I agree with that statement but Zherdev hasn't consistently proven that he is worthy of double digit minutes himself. He has to be willing to play d, forecheck, and not give up on plays.

agreed.. carcillo should play though.. he's a good player when he plays on edge and he hasn't been a penalty liability much this year at all.. plus the record with him is like 34-8 and without its like 11-10
