let me say this. please dont bring in another ex devil to run the pp.

on the other hand i dont think it matters who the coach is. we just dont have the horses to have a good powerplay.


shaw had san jose ranked #2. oates had the caps ranked #1 i believe this year. both while with the devils the powerplay was horrible!

If nothing else get a guy that the players like and will respond to. Parise said during the cup run that the team would run through a brick wall if the coaches asked them to. Based on the effort and the amount of times the team mailed it in last year, I don't think it's the same mindset. Get a motivator.

i thought the same thing. there were tons of games last year esp in those losing streaks the team looked like they could care less about being out there. then hearing from lou that the coaching will stay the same i was a little confused did he not see the same thing?
