Cuz that seems a little odd.

Wolski was a lazy 2 way player and Sacco did not like that. They were better off to part ways.

I think that surprised a lot of people, but Wolski was kind of an underachiever at times. I think the trade worked out for both teams...at least until Blake cheap shotted Meuller

43, because Wolski is going to go to RFA next year and has better numbers. Mueller is an RFA as well, but not as good numbers this year and a lot better work ethic.

Very nice kill. You guys also got robbed on an earlier non-call against Heatley. He slashed/tripped one of the Col players.

You guys just have to establish some pressure on the Sharks to relieve the constant pressure on your own defense. Poor Cumiskey looks like he doesn't want the puck anymore. Liles and Hannan have been very good in this series.

I'm not watching this one yet. Maybe I'll drop in during the 3rd period. Did they interview Boyle during the intermission and ask who he thought the tougher goalie to score on was?

Seriously though... nice for him to get the icebreaker in this one. I still think Nabokov was more at fault, but it must have been a big weight off his shoulders.

Avs need to stay out of the box and just play their game this period. All in all not a bad first period, with the exception of the 2 penalties (at least one of which was pretty weak)

Disagree Njack, I thought that both penalties were legit. Foote could have been called for a cross check or interference since the guy he checked didn't have the puck.

I thought the Foote penalty was a little weak. The high stick was legit.
