Great football story for the Denver Broncos - Shaquil Barrett gets some well deserved pub. Great find for this football team - and great attitude for success on Barrett's part.

What I love is this kid has shown he is very coachable. He has worked his tail off to get where he is. He spent the entire off season pretty much asking questions to Ware and Miller on what he needed to do to improve and completely changed up his diet and exercise for the off season to come back a better player. Obviously the results speak for themselves as this kid is beating out a pretty darn good 1st round pick. That is the thing Shane Ray has actually done really well it is just that Barrett is playing like a guy that should be starting for over half the league right now but is stuck behind to of the greats in the game. I am very excited to see what this kid does on Sunday. I think he has a 2 sack game with the Browns giving Von so much attention.

Bill Romanowski was actually brilliant in what Barrett was talking about ..I also think when we passed up Romanowski idea of making him the team special dietician was right but I wish we would hire a cutting edge type person to get our players the real edge . this might stop all the Wolf type of mess ups ..

Romanowski would worked if not for his baggage ..glad we passed ...Still you could use his Ideas in a real dietician/best of the best trainers ... edge is always a good thing ...it is the small things that set you a part from the crowd

So Shaq Barrett seems more dynamic than either Miller or Wade - he even makes Shane Ray look like a plodder.

Which reminds me of the other endless argument about these Broncos - when they waste a 2nd round pick on Montee Ball and they sign a guy like Shaq Barrett as an UDFA out of college. The same scouts scouted both of them - one looks like the Broncos were dopes to draft him - the other makes the Broncos look like geniuses finding a gem and developing him. The reality is you never know how a draft pick or signing is going to work out - but if you are good at finding the guys you want on your team from whoever shows up to play that season - you are pretty darn good - and your record will look like this.

Certainly seems to be in his natural position. Now if we can put his brains inside Malik Jackson and Wolfe. How many dumb, annoying, ignorant things has Jackson done?

I wish the NFL would Start up a true NFL League Spring League for development of QB's and finding players like Rod Smith and Shaq Barrett..

I think there are plenty player that are damn fine players that get washed out of the league every year . I don't get the NFL there is room for atleast 10 teams in the USA for expansion they are always talking LA but IMO they are missing the better places ....Birmingham Stallions they sold out every game !!! That is crazy to pass up as a team ! they had 80,000 + fans showing up for each game ..


In a Actual Spring league You could find the places like Birmingham and expand the League to those 10 more fall teams I was talking about...

I watched a little here and there during the preseason and I loved this guy. He seems to go 100 mph every play and is relentless in getting to the backfield to disrupt plays. I hate to see Ware and Ray go down, but I love that Barrett is getting a chance to play.
