Thats the kicker that might result in suspension. No need for risking that kind of hit in a meaningless point in the game.

If this occurred hen it was actually a hockey game, I think it is a 2 minute call.

I'm pretty sure he's getting 2 games for this. I DO think the players have to get used to the new rules. They've been trained to throw these hits since mites. It might be a generation of players before these hits leave the game.
