The defense isn't much better than last year. The offense has limited the opposition to 25-26 minutes a game, which has limited how ugly it is. Eli is playing 7 on 7 in shorts
Defense is way better than last year. Last year Eli would have come down the field and got his team in position to win the game. If the refs correctly give us the fumble after replay that would have been two huge red zone turnovers. Beckham was just a beast. Good coverage on a few of those receptions.
I think we have been fortunate to have not played QB's at the top of their game this season. Our biggest wins this year, the NO game, Brees is having a down year and Seattle, one of the worst passing attacks in the league. Houston, Jax, Washington, Eli twice. Palmer tore us up in the loss to Zona. And lets face it, Eli shredded our secondary last night coming off a 5 interception game. If we play a team with a QB like Rodgers, Luck, PManning, Brady or Rivers, our O will have to hold the ball for 35 minutes and score 40 for us to have a shot IMO
Although the defense was pretty rough for a lot of the night, my original post was after the Giants first drive when they converted about 5 third downs it seemed
