SERIES THREAD: Memphis Grizzlies VS Oklahoma City Thunder

The Grizzlies were the better team in games 2, 3, and 4

Those where all overtime games where Okc shot like 30%. Game 1 was an Okc blowout and so was last night. If you match up player for player the Thunder has the better players so when both teams play their best Okc should win.

OKC is the more physically talented team. Not sure Id say for sure that they are the better team but they are the favorite. The problem with OKC is their ability to sustain their high level of play, imo. I'm not sure what their locker room leadership looks like or if its just the coaching but they have some issues there. Game 7 swings their whole identity as a team, imo.

Memphis has Zbo and Gasol who are two of the least athletically gifted people in the league who get by with hustle, grit and fundamentals. Conley is somewhat in that category, too. Westbrook is one of the most physically gifted guards of all time and Durant is a total offensive freak.

Its a tortoise vs hare matchup and at some point the hare has to stop falling asleep. I really want the Grizzlies to win but it just goes against what I know about basketball

I expect Memphis to get demolished Saturday. They have nothing left. Series should have never been this close.

Haha Adams is the new Blake Griffin. With Zbo out and Connely questionable this doesn't look good for Memphis.

OKC must have found a golden horseshoe. Memphis gave them fits and now Conley gets hurt in game 6 (and will be severely hampered in 7) and Z-Bo acts a fool and gets bounced. They are almost as lucky as Miami, who has had the entire Eastern conference crumble around them

I can not believe the NBA suspended Randolph for game 7 that wasnt even a punch that was a shove. bottom line they dont want memphis to go on over oklahoma because that would only hurt ratings. Meanwhile a fight almost starts with atlanta and indiana with players staring each other down but thats ok because there is no way in hell that they would suspend paul george in a game 7 against atlanta.

You must have seen something I didn't then because the video I saw he was trying to get in front of the dude, reached around with his fist and punched him in the jaw. To me that was a flagarant 2 worthy of atleast two or three game suspension - I think Randolph got off lucky with only one game
