1) We cannot win without Russell Westbrook.


2) We cannot win with Russell Westbrook.




He is the strangest player.


They need him on the court to win.
But, they also don't need him on the court to win.

Westbrook is an amazing talent.
I would love to have him on my team.


But, I have never seen a team that is unsure whether its own players are vital to success or vital to failure. Perkins is the same way to a lesser degree.


It is the ultimate paradox.
You could argue exact opposite sides of the argument and be 100% correct both times.

The way the Grizzles won the last 2 is incredibly impressive.

In both games, Westbrook and Durant show incredible late game heroics, destroying Memphis leads in heart-breaking fashion.

And what do the Grizzles do? Keep coming back again and again with clutch defense and clutch scoring. I'm impressed.
