Sens - Sabres GNT

5th meeting between these two teams tonight, and the Sabres have won 3 of them, but all of them have been close games. Miller is 3-1 with a 1.46 GAA and a .949 SV%.

The Sabres are coming of a much needed win the other night against the Thrashers, and it was the first game with Pegula as the new owner. They are 3 points behind the 8th place Canes, and they need this win to keep pace, while keeping ahead of teams like the Thrashers, Panthers, Devils, and the surging Leafs.

The computer asked me if I was sure that I wanted to use the word surging with the Leafs.

The Sens are hurting lately, but they have won 2 games in a row now, and it seems like Anderson is a welcomed addition to the team. The Sabres need to throw a lot of pucks at him tonight and early on to be successful.

Here's hoping for a good game with no injuries.
