i think my draft crush is josh reynolds he smart a ex qb a good wr but to me he needs more muscle i think if he is there in 2nd rd i would pull the trigger if garcon or djax is not on the team if not i would still be happy with a combo of britt doctson garcon crowder that be legit to lot of option at wr this draft but i love josh reynolds

we should be on this kid hard as well him and cravens could dominate

A rookie safety who sounds like he may be better suited for SS. Paired with a kid just in his 2nd year who's never played safety before, but is being touted as next year's starting SS eh.

I guess it could happen.

Senior Bowl highlights

Watched the game today. Here are my thoughts about certain players. There are some players I over looked but will watch them at the combine. Here's my quick impression.

LB’s
Haason Reddick 6-2 237 Looks more like a ILB or weak side LB. with good coverage skill. Good versatile. Not a stiff. Has some good agility and speed. He’s a good player in space.

Tyus Bowser Olb 6 3 244 He reminds me of Carroll Phillips. Excellent pass rushing coverage skill. A sleeper. Notice him during the OU game in Sept. I was hoping he would be quite at the senior bowl LOL but anyone can see the potential. Like Carroll he may be an issue with the run game but I like his future.

Carroll Phillips Olb 6-3 237 He had a quite senior bowl but I like his speed and good coverage skills. Not a stiff. Very fast out of the blocks causing good penetration. I think his initial burst is the quickest of all the LB’s and DE. These type of players may struggle with run. Perfect 3-4 OLB. He could be a good a situational pass rusher and later blossom into a starter.

Derek Rivers OLB Youngstown 6-4 250 If I remember correctly he had a sack during practice. He could be a good DE in the 3-4 or the 4-3. Today he had a sack during the game this guy is always in the backfield an this penetration is always good. Some Tackles had a difficult time with him during practice. He showed good some coverage skill.

Alex Anzalone 6-3 240 He seems a little stiff in the hips. Lack speed and I think he he lacks pass coverage skill. I notice this in the practices early this week. He looks more like a one dimensional lb who play the runner than pass coverage.

DE

Trey Hendrickson DE 6-foot-4, 265 Florida Atlantic If you watched the east west shrine game he was very disruptive, two tackles and a forced fumble on a sack. Consistently stayed in the backfield.

Daeshon Hall DE A&M 6-5 265 have to watch him more at the combine. He occasionally displayed some pass rushing skill.

Jordan Willis DE Kansas State I already know about this guy. A big 12 player. Today he had 2 sacks and 2 force fumbles. Nothing spectacular. Just a good, solid, steady consistent player. More of a pass rusher from the strong side.

Deadrich Wise DL Arkansas 6-6. 271 He kind of looked a little rigid but show very good pass rushing skill. East West shrine game.

Tanoh Kpassagnon DE 6-6 280 Villanova Had a sack causing a fumble. Big and long with long arms. Remind me of Charles Mann but more agile. Many times had good penetration from the edge.

DT

Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama a good run stuffer.

Montravius Adams DT Auburn disruptive penetrating force. I like him alot.

Carlos Watkins Clemson DT Clemson Have to watch him more at the combine. Had a few good plays during practices. but during the game he didn't show me much. Kind of down on him now. Maybe I missed something or was he trying not to get hurt.

De'Angelo Brown DL East west Shrine game he's a pure run stuffer. Short and very hard to move.

Joey Ivie DL Florida East west Shrine game. Had a sack and was good at obstructing the run.

Chris Wormley DT Kind of the player as Jordan Willis can play inside side or end but not a good pass rusher as Willis. Better vs the run. I think he will be a decent steady player.

Safety
Lorenzo Jerome S 5-10 202 Bingo a playmaking safety just what we need. He was productive today. A tackle and caused a fumble and had 2 INT‘s. That equals to he knows how to find the football. Has good speed.

WR

Chad Williams WR 6-1 204 Has good hands. Have to watch this guy in the late rds.

Josh Reynolds WR 6-foot-1, 198 pounds. He’s thin, a little worried about his durability but he run good routes and makes plays. Sleeper

Cooper Kupp Eastern Washington) 6-foot-1, 198 pounds. One of those guys who is not fast but always get open.

Zay Jones WR 6-1 197 A player that was inconsistent during the practice this wk. He really showed how good he is. He has some really good hands and good leaping abilities. Appears to be a good scoring threat near the end zone

This guy did not play in the East West or the Senior bowl but god I wish we can get in the late rds.

James Conner 6-2 250 Pittsburgh Ben Boulware spoke about Conner at the Senior bowl. He was ask who was the best player you play against and the most respected player the last 3 yrs. He replied James Connor. He split my face mask. A big dude, a low. Conner overcame Hodgkin lymphoma. More of a Riggo rugged type, a brute who runs through tackles not around them. Just a real good stomp down RB. Decent speed and has some passing catching ability. Unfortunately I don’t think he fits Gruden scheme.

Heh. OK. Thanks for the heads up on not being misled.

Sean Taylor was a FS, Ken Houston was a FS. Nobody had to imply or wonder if they could cover TEs and WRs at times. The dope on this kid says some believe he may have the versatility/speed to cover TEs. Which is also implying he may not. He certainly has desirable size.

Regardless putting a rookie player and a player who may be as close to a rookie w/o being one due to the position change as your starting safeties. Says steep learning curve moreso than domination to me.

But.......maybe it'll work.

A lot of good options here but for me I think I’d grab S Obi Melifonwu if he’s available. He’s a big safety with a ton of range, and the ability to match-up man to man vs big physical TEs and WRs. That is a weapon to have on your defense and something the Redskins have lacked since the days of Sean Taylor

this guys has him in round 2 but this is the report
