ameer did look good. but it's really unfair to the defense in that they can't blitz. there were some big holes for the runners it seemed on every down. honestly, if it wasn't for the fact they want the QBs to get throws, I thought they could have just ran the ball up and down the field on each other.
I could see the Rams, Ravens, or Patriots drafting Ameer.
The Rams have been very fond of Nebraska players, and they don't usually pan out there.
I am on record as to never waste a first round pick on running backs. The running game is not what an offense is anymore. Plus, you can always find a capable back and plug him in behind a good line.
I hope Ameer gets drafted by New England or Baltimore. I think he has his best chance there.
If I was a GM or coach, the #1 player on my board would be Brandon Scherff from Iowa unless I really needed a quarterback.
