I didn't think Apple's coverage was that bad, to be perfectly honest. It's just that Kupp is an elite wr, and Stafford has shown time and again that he can lead a team to a fourth quarter comeback as well as anybody in history.
Cinci's game plan was pretty simple on defense - drop men into coverage and make the running game beat you. They tackled extremely well, and ran to the ball very very quickly. They got outclassed on the final drive by Stafford and Kupp on offense (with that backup te contributing nicely) and a first ballot hall-of-famer on defense.
That third down stop by Donald was more impressive, to me, than his game clinching play. The dude singlehandedly prevented a first down, then sealed the game on the next play.
