Each of us came up with a character, mine was this bank robber named Brandon Derringer, who used this large mechanical bird to blast through the vaults, which he called the Derringer Eagle.

About 8 years again at an old job, I had just gotten dumped by a girlfriend.
Word got around and then all of a sudden the mail clerk approached me and said she was sorry to hear about it but had a crush on me for a while. I ended up banging her in the mail room later that day and postmaster was my new nickname from my friends. 2230 was the address of the building.

when i was in college, my friends and i were always annoyed with the fobs (fresh off the boat) indian dudes who thought they were the shit, totally condescending morons who would go around and hit on any thing that had a vagina and moved and they would use the tackiest lines, make all of us look bad.

one guy was particularly a doof and would go around americanizing his name in a hilarious way "Hi my name is Fredosh but you can call me Freddy" (funnier if you imagine it with a heavy accent), so one night at a party when he was pulling this line, my buddy who did wicked impersonations started impersonating him to us, "Hi my name is Raj but you can call me JOHNNYTATA" (again funnier if you imagine it with a heavy accent and particular emphasis on the name).

we were literally standing right behind him laughing our asses off and he never noticed, but the girl he was hitting on nearly lost it. ever since then i loved the name and sort of fashioned it as my own personal super-hero name (you know, if i was ever to become an actual superhero).

Most people knew me on the E$PN board as wellbeback.. since my two top teams (Cowboys and Caps) have always left me saying "We'll be back", at the end of every season.

Unfortunately, we'll be back DEFINITELY still applies to both teams once again, but I was banned on that "other" board a while ago, and came up with the pretty lame ID of NFL_ROOLZ. I just dropped the NFL part when I created my ID here. I left it roolz so my fellow defectors would know who i am.

Funny thing about changing from wellbeback to NFL_ROOLZ though. I had to tell most people I was wellbeback to get them to lay off. A lot of people berated me because of the NFL part, and questioned my love for hockey... It also didn't help with my fellow Caps fans that I added a picture i took of the Cowboys star from texas Stadium as my avitar.

My first love was hockey. My grand father and great uncle sold the land that the old Cap center was on in Landover MD, so they could build the arena, and I went to many Caps games as a kid in the 70s before I ever went to any Other professional sporting events.

Hockey was never offered to me as a sport i could play growing up, so I played football. make no mistake though.. i'm about as die hard a Caps fan as you'll find. YES it's been frustrating over the years. The climax of said frustration being this past Wednesday in losing the series to the Habs.

Let me add this because i always get questioned about it.. I'm a Cowboys fan because my Dad is.. I've never known him to be a fan of any other team, and i've never been a fan of any other NFL team.

Do I get a prize for most long winded explanation of my SN?

When I was about fifteen or so I needed to make myself a fake ID. Decided a fake name was also the way to go, so I used the last name "Dacks" which is based off one of the star wars characters who dies in the battle of hoth. You know, Luke's snowspeeder gunner who gets crushed under the AT-AT. That's who I wanted to be.

Anyway, then my fledgeling fake ID career took off, I needed a covert hotmail account, kept using Dacks as my alias, and it stuck.

I should warn you, invoking my name in Montreal's criminal underworld will probably get you killed. Or crushed under an AT-AT.
