In an interview with a former Red Sox reliever, Seiya replies "I can't quite disclose that yet," when Koji Uehara says, "You're going to Boston, right?"... This will likely freak-out the fans Boston...

So, where do you think he'll end up? And, do you think he'll be any good?

Hideki Matsui's age 26 season in Japan: .316/.438/.654/1.092 with 42 homers.

Seiya Suzuki's age 26 seasons in Japan: .317/.433/.639/1.072 with 38 homers.

There's a pretty solid chance he's pretty good with the bat which by itself should generate substantial interest. From what I can tell his defense probably provides a lot more value than Matsui did. With that in mind, there's a maybe some value here depending on how Suzuki's market develops.

I'd assume a larger market gets his services. But damn, he'd be such a nice fit for the Royals in RF.

Lot of rumors about him and the Giants, but I assume those same rumors exist for just about every team. I think the Giants will certainly be in the mix, but there is no telling where he wants to land.

Not seeing this anywhere else. In fact, MLBTR lists the Sox as a potential landing spot, but not necessarily one of the finalists…

I can't take that first article seriously. The guy spelled 度でメジャー移籍を wrong.

The Mariners have a pretty good track record with Japanese players. There is a fairly big Japanese community there and they support the team well.

I think a lot of Japanese born players are Mariners fans because of Icharo. They tend to be in a lot of discussions for those players just because of him.
