It is a disgrace but who cares about all-star games. If it weren't for my intense distaste for the Pens I'd have been hoping for a caps loss and sell off. Maybe Backstrom would be available in that scenario.

I agree with you about all star games but he's such a great player and he's so under appreciated nationally imo. must be a swede thing

Even if caps lose game 7, not a chance. Leonsis is a business man, and even though he wants to win a championship, they'll continue to make the playoffs with 8 and 19.

The great thing is we're heading towards one of two outcomes:
- Caps finally slay their demons, come back from 3-1 down against the Pens, and probably win the cup.
- Caps add a new chapter of heartbreak, losing game 7, maybe the worst chapter yet.
