That one did matter. With the way these playoffs have seen leads evaporate. Washington had scored the last goal a few minutes before that one and had the momentum.

IMO it was called right after the review.

Yeah, but you framed it as favoritism for the Pens.

Anyway, what I would like to see change with the rule is when "incidental" contact is determined to be caused by the defender pushing the player into the goalie and a goal is scored, the goal should be waved but the player should be awarded a penalty shot.

Yeah consistency is an issue also:
Game one yeah this is during the chaos but not much different in the amount of contact.

EDIT: If Murray was in net and got that contact he would have been out of the playoffs with a concussion.
