I am so loving this series. Kinda wish I was still in Bowling Green so I could go to a game. What I would've given to watch the Preds sweeping the 'Sucks in the first round.

I do miss seeing games at Bridgestone. Always had a blast chatting with Preds fans in enemy territory.

The past two nights I honestly just keep thinking about esls' post the other day.

I look at crap like this and all the crap around the Crosby injury and say "Jesus Christ." more than I look at Pageau scoring 4 goals in a playoff game and say "JESUS CHRIST!". The NFL on its worst gameday doesn't have this much nonsense floating around.

I find it funny that many (including "hockey men", refs and DOPeS here), after questionable hits, can say they cant determine whether the offending player had intent to hurt said player (or they automatically fall on the side of "he couldnt possibly have meant to injure that player")

yet they can make the determination that a guy like PK dove or intended to deceive so quickly

all based on some manufactured reputation

Sure it's the playoffs and sure there is a bunch of very good young talent in this league, but besides that I find myself caring less and less about the NHL these days. I don't really care for the on ice product as much. The league keeps tweaking the rules, has a ridiculous point system and rules that change from face off to face off and refs that game manage. Playoff tickets are expensive and I have a feeling there are a lot of fans who mirror my sentiments about the game today. I could go to the Ducks game tonight for two people and spend $130 which is a hell of a deal and still I chose to do other things with my money (not coke and hookers for those wondering).

That one, particularly the refs that game manage in this case.
