Straight from the rulebook - It doesn't say anything about whether you think a goalie would have been able to make the save.

Not sure the Bruins still would have won that game but that sure didn't help them at all

Florida is the better team for sure. Was hoping the Bs would win tonight but too many mistakes. Penalties did not help. That goaltender interference call should have been a crosscheck on that fuck Bennet. In the end I dont think the bruin would have won anyways.

hard to argue a team should win a game where they're outshot by 20+ shots. this one was no different.

I'll just say this about the Bennett goal that tied the game 2-2 last night:

a) Ref missed a cross-check by Bennett on Coyle
b) Swayman was certainly impeded by Coyle falling on top of him
c) Whether or not you think Swayman could have made the save (he likely couldn't), that shouldn't factor into the decision regarding whether or not it was goaltender interference. The way it is currently written in the NHL rulebook, that was goaltender interference and the goal should not have counted.

So in summary, a ref missed the call and the war room is unable to interpret the rule book correctly. Just another day/night in the NHL.

Marek made the point on 32 thoughts that if we’re going to call off goals for being a pixel offsides, shouldn’t this rule also be enforced as written in black and white?

Or if we can use some judgement, why not on offsides calls that happened well before a sequence of a goal where multiple other things happened in between?

That made some sense to me
