I am not excusing Weegar for pinching, by the way. It was a poor play.

Had Kuch bobbled the puck and got lit up by Weegar, then Weegar's a hero. And that's Weegar's game. Maybe shouldn't have gone for it, but you can't be surprised he did.

It was certainly a tough loss for the Pans, but I thought the Bolts dominated the first half of the game. Already losing game 1 on home ice, I expected Florida to really take it to Tampa in the first period last night, but the urgency just wasn't there. I guess credit to Tampa for playing a great road game.
