yeah, they started somewhere in NC. I forget the town, but they were everywhere in both Carolinas when i was growing up. They actually made it to NYC for a while but Dunkin' had too much of a stranglehold...I'm sure the hockey series will be completely different

Tough to see Bob's last game as a Blue Jacket. Thanks for the memories, Bob.

Before the season, we were realistically 3-4 years away from contending. Keep Duchene and Dzingel and hope Bemstrom pans out and this whole shebang could be sped up a tad. This is a good damn team and two of our best defenders were out the whole playoffs. Proud of 'em.

Yeah, if we can resign Duchene (seems like he likes it here) and Dzingel (OSU grad) it won't be too painful losing Panarin, especially with Tex gaining some experience (obviously, would still love to keep Bread).

I think we could pretty much maintain next year, and if Elvis is as advertised contend in 2 or 3.

Not just Elvis, but Tarasov and Velhaivenen. None will be Vezina Bob, but with a D corps of Jones, Werenski, Murray, Kukan, Savard, Gavrikov and Nutivaara they won't need to be. Just need someone to step up and score 40ish on that top line. Bjorky, Bemstrom, Tex. Who knows?

They made it all the way to my city, Manch-Angeles, NH some years ago and I don't think it lasted much more than a year. I don't eat donuts and I make my own coffee at home so I'm not in the loop.
