Side discussion: I know people rag on bandwagon fans, and yeah, most won't be here next year during the regular season, but some will stick around. I was once a "bandwagon fan". That's the only way we'll get away from having dull Tuesday night games and Pittsburgh fans coming in.

Well, as we've quickly learned, the regular season doesn't mean shit anyway.

One of the bars here is having a "competition" with a Boston bar. Winning team's bar gets $250 worth of open bar tabs paid for by the other bar. Kinda cool.

Not the bar I was planning to go to, but made me think a little.

Plenty of room aboard

Yeah, there's only 34 people in the cab.

Side discussion: I know people rag on bandwagon fans, and yeah, most won't be here next year during the regular season, but some will stick around. I was once a "bandwagon fan". That's the only way we'll get away from having dull Tuesday night games and Pittsburgh fans coming in.

The money that bandwagon fans spend is just as good as die hard fans and the team can use it all just the same. It's been fun chatting with people in grocery stores and stuff about hockey. If we convert 10% into long time hockey fans, then all the better.

Well, as we've quickly learned, the regular season doesn't mean shit anyway.

DAMN RIGHT

Haven’t washed my Dubi jersey in two weeks and I’m not going to start today
2 weeks? The only reason I washed my jersey this season is because someone spilled beer on me, haha

I have been wearing my "Vote Tugnutt" shirt during games since the trade deadline. Have not washed it since the playoffs started.

There is some pizza sauce on it, but otherwise not so bad.

Edit to add photo of shirt:

Two big, heavy teams. Both deep, both solid defensively and both capable of squeezing the life out of an opponent. Hope it's a solid series.

Some things that will definitely happen:
- Someone will take a stupid penalty at the wrong time and shift the momentum
- When this happens it will be PROOF of a conspiracy against the team by the NHL
- There will be goals called back.
- Pierre will have one hell of a time naming any PeeWee coach from France or Denmark
- Coach Rick (Kuraly's dad) will have a hard time believing that his boy is in the second round and playing on Nationwide ice.
- Either Bobrovsky or Rask will the be the story. Good or bad.

Edit: oops forgot to label it series thread.

I wouldn't call the Bruins a big, heavy team. Don Sweeney has definitely opted for speed and skill over size more often that not when he chooses players. I know that Chara is a monster and Brandon Carlo is a big kid as well, but other than that they aren't that big.

Well, I said this once before when congratulating BJ fans on the 1st round win, but I know Pittsburgh and CBJ are supposed division rivals and what not, but I've always been a fan of Jones, Anderson, Jenner, Foligno, the Breadman, etc. I just like the way those guys play hockey. so, here's to CBJ :suds:

Excited/nervous... Hopefully we haven't lost our edge after playing "playoff" hockey for so long, then nothing.

And hopefully Murray's healed up.
Prepare to get your face licked

Bruins in 6

They have seen and beat teams like CBJ in the playoffs before. Just smack them around a bit and use our( Bruins) to get goals.

Bold prediction: The winner of this represents the East in the Stanley cup

Not that bold, imo...I think that's the case as well.

A real fan won't change their underwear either until a loss occurs in the series. Win to win to win, they stay on. Socks included! :suds:
