Second Period Suck

After 2 periods of Mtl game out of only 11 shots on goals they had 10 chances - as per TV's 2nd intermission stats, which means they did not waste shots. Great %. Hopefully it was our rebouncing start last night.

Our second periods really suck. I was looking back at the stats and we have given up 17 goals thus far in the second where we have only scored a total of 15. That sums it all up.
We can keep going with the second period gf and ga with the 3 games this week or since Kovy was in the hot seat the last week, we can choose what will be his point production and plus/minus per game (1 point for right choice of goals, 1 for right choice of assist, and 1 for right plus/minus, 2 points for closest person to his actual production).
Either one is fine, let me know which one works and we'll go from there (we have today and tomorrow to choose and get our picks in for the week).

2 very tough road games and the Devils have been bad on these long road trips over the past few years. Then finally back at home for an intense game against the rag$.


Scoring is really low for now and someone needs to step up, so this contest will be about top offensive performers. pick your top 3 scorers for each game and list what position you have them in. If you feel that no players will get points, put in "Shutout" and do not add any players. Points will be given by the following:

1 pt for each top 3 scorer that matches actual top 3 scorer.
1 extra point for having the scorer in the correct place.
1 extra point for having all three players correct, regardless of order
3 points for correctly guessing a shutout
Ties will be broken by having the most correct 1st place picks, followed by 2nd, and then followed by 3rd.

Zero points will void that player. Ties in player's points mean they tie in ranking (If kovy and Elias get 3 pts and then langs gets 2, kovy and elias are both ranked #1 and langs is ranked #3)
