You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
We held our second annual Suicide Fantasy Football League Draft beginning on May 10th. (Which is prior to the Crabtree injury. Just FYI.)
The reason for the "Suicide" title is because in this league there are no trades and no free agent adds or
drops. So the team you draft is the team that you live and die with for the entire season.
With these strict guidelines, it may change your outlook on certain players. Owners may decide to sacrifice "projected" upside players for more dependable, reliable players instead. Pick your poison so to speak.
The origins of the Suicide League are forever lost in another message board forum. And there may be some debate as to the origin. But if memory serves correctly, I believe we decided to do this to (A) satisfy our fantasy fix in an otherwise slow off-season, and (B) stop the exaggerated rantings and antics of a colleague, by actually engaging in a real draft.
With the aforementioned in mind, I am proud to present the results of the 2013 Suicide Draft. Any player
comments are provided by the actual owners who drafted said player.
