Texas A&M continues its strong recruiting season with its 22nd commitment, from 4-star DT Hardreck Walker from Houston, TX. he had around 10 other offers, including ones form Arkansas and Auburn.

LSU is putting together a high-quality class as well. DeSean Smith is a 4-star TE from Lake Charles, LA. He had > 10 offers including ones from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. Melvin Jones is a 4-star LB from Lake Charles. He had > 10 offers including ones from Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss St and Vanderbilt. Tigers are up to 18 commits.

Auburn has a commit from kicker Daniel Carlson of Colorado Springs, CO. He also had an offer from LSU. War Tigers are at 14 commits.

And Kentucky picks up its 8th commit, this one from 2-star OT Justin Day of Aiken, SC.

Keep an eye on Reubed Foster (Bama verbal, 5 star - top five overall) and Tray Matthews (UGA verbal, 4 star), they've announced that they will play together but haven't announced where yet.

Some people (not just UGA journalists) are claiming it's a lock that they end up at UGA, but as the two have said - no one knows but them.

Their announcement could come in early August.

Texas A&M has its eye-popping 23rd commitment, this one from 3-star LB Darian Claiborne out of Port Allen, LA. Mr. Claiborne had > 10 offers, including ones from Miss St, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt.

LSU is on the move again, this time with a commmitment from 3-star DE Lewis Neal from Wilson, NC. Neal had ~ 10 other offers, including ones from Tennessee and South Carolina. He is the Tigers' 19th commit, and they move into 2nd place.

Ole Miss continues to put together a nice class. Devante Kincade is a 3-star QB out of Dallas, TX, and the 14th commit for the Rebels. He had > 10 offers, including one from Miss St.

Kentucky's 9th commit is unrated S Jalen Battle, from Fort Lauderdale, FL. He had 8 offers, most notably ones from Illinois, Navy, and Tulane.

Georgia picked up two commits. Tim Kimbrough is a 3-star LB from Indianapolis, IN. He had > 20 offers, including ones from Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Quincy Mauger is a 3-star safety from Marietta, GA, who also had offers from Iowa St, and Central FL. Bulldogs are up to 21 commits.

Kentucky picked up its 10th commitment, this one from 3-star RB Khalid Thomas from Tallahassee, FL. He also had offers from South Carolina, Ohio St, and Miami.

Auburn got a commitment from 3-star ATH Jason Smith from Mobile, AL. He also had offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Miss St. But the biggest news was the decommitment of 5-star DT Reuben Foster from Alabama, and his switch of commitment to Auburn.
