Georgia is good. Really good.
LSU is good. Really good.
I think I've tipped on the obvious now.
Both are really good in different fashions though, which makes this game great from a 'handicapping' standpoint.
LSU: You have to love the development of Joe Burrow. He was shit before this year, but the Joe Brady move has moved mountains. I'm a sideline LSU fan, but the records broken by this offense are likely just standards for years to come. Major credit to Coach O to seek out the best, and then put them in charge. Nobody can underestimate a Chief like that, letting a newbie roll with his current OC like that.
Defensively? This isn't the bestest or most athletic bunch LSU has fielded in a while. They aren't actually great in the Front 7, which has always been their strong point for the last decade or more.
Back end is decent enough, but they'll be 1-on-1 on tough situations.
Georgia: I think Fromm is as overrated as any QB in college football (UGA fans probably agree). With that said, he is a 3 year starter, and won't make mistakes in a game like this. He does have some moxy about him, and Georgia grinds out games like no other.
I think Georgia is maybe a bit underrated in here. Sure, they grind games out, but teams like that, with experienced QBs find ways to make overanxious teams make mistakes and beat them with big plays on the back end when things really matter.
I like UGA in the upset:
Georgia: 31
LSU: 23
