Wash never makes a decision early.

In leaving Yu in to get out of the jam in his last inning Wash exhibits the same reticence in taking Yu out as he does leaving Murphy in week after week ... and leaving AJ behind the plate when he is struggling defensively and offensively.

Difference is that Yu has pretty much always justified the later decision. Could very well blow up in Wash face if Yu were to give up just one more hit with a RP all warm in the BP.

In not making a decision early ... it is as if he's the last guy in the entire ballpark to come to the realization that a change needs to be made.
