He started for the Cardinals last season, and played fairly well. He will be put into competition for the open starting OLB spot, and I for one think he is now the front runner. This is great news for the Seahawks linebacker corps, as I thought he had a good shot at being the Cards starter again. Extra motivation couldn't hurt either.

I'm guessing he's fighting for a spot in the rotation at DE not OLB. Might be picking up the slack for when Irvin is suspended.

Not sure he makes the roster, but if he does it may be playing the Leo position. That would be a fall back move due to various problems the Seahawks have.
1) Clemons won't be ready game 1
2) Irvin suspended
3) Avril suffering from planter fascia

We'll see how it works out.

As a Cardinal fan watching this guy from day one, I will give you some insight: The team had high hopes he would develop into a solid LB when drafted in 2010. His main problem is he can't stay healthy and he's not the smartest guy. He only played in 9 games last year. The year before he played in 16 as a rotation guy but he was always on and off the field with nagging weekly injuries. He is just not a reliable player. He has recorded 83 tackles and 10.5 sacks for his entire 3 year career. It's kinda funny seeing a so called "elite" team picking up the Cardinals scraps.

That's how we became an elite team, Pete and John look at everyone and say how can we get the most out of his strength while other teams try to force a player into there scheme, which doesn't always work out. Also there not afraid to say hey this is not working lets try something different. That's why we had over 200 transactions when they first arrived (that and we had very little talent.)
