As we know, the Dodgers open the Regular Season in March, in Australia, then return to Arizona to complete ST, then resume the Regular Season against San Diego.
In Australia the Dodgers play one Exhibition game and the two Regular Season games against the Diamondbacks. They also have Seven off days during their jaunt to Australia. I'm wondering if the travel and "off days" will affect the players adversely as they prepare for the Season.
I'm not convinced these March pilgrimages to start the Season are in the best interest of the Clubs involved, even though it helps promote Baseball on the international scene.
It will be interesting to see how the Dodgers and Diamondbacks get out of the gate.
