You’d really think they’d save a game like this for later. As it’s been mentioned all nfl fans will tune in to the first and only game of the seasonand you could put Philly-Dallas on a Wednesday afternoon and the number will be big nationally as well. Odds are it's going to be the highest rated Thursday night opener ever...well, at least the first half will be
People aren't turning the dallas/Philly game off by halftime for 3 reasons. 1. People want to see Dallas get blown out. 2. People want to see Philly get blown out and reason 3 is both teams when healthy can put on an entertaining game in a close battle. I will concede that people would tune in for Sanders for about a half but then remember Browns football is awful regardless who's at QB.Not mad, seems like a safe pick. I would went a different direction. Maybe Cleveland with Sanders, people would be interested in seeing what he can do. Most people look at this game we will turn it off by halftime because Philly is thst good.
I don't think they banned it yet (nor should it) so still should be good for this upcoming seasonI don’t think there will be a Tush Push allowed next year. The Eagles have gotten too good at it and the league won’t have it anymore that one team is essentially an auto convert on 3rd or 4th and 1.
They’re going to ban a play because one team perfects it and turned it into a cheat code.
I agree. They just need to allow the defense to push guys toward the scrum too.I don't think they banned it yet (nor should it) so still should be good for this upcoming season
You wanna see Barkley put up another 250yds and lose to Philly in the season opener? Gotta say I like your spirit. You mean Rams
AgreedI agree. They just need to allow the defense to push guys toward the scrum too.
That was last year, the Rams will be betterYou wanna see Barkley put up another 250yds and lose to Philly in the season opener? Gotta say I like your spirit.
Menstrual cramps? The Browns playing on the opening Thursday in place of the SB Champs would be one of the dumbest decisions ever. Sanders probably won't even start week 1. Come watch Joe Flacco and the DT they took in the first round. Lol.
So 225yds and 2 TDsThat was last year, the Rams will be better
I thought the Rams would be the team to face the Eagles in the opener, given their exciting playoff matchup last year. But I guess the NFL couldn’t resist having the Cowboys/Eagles division rivalry to open the season, especially with the Cowboys being media darlings. That was last year, the Rams will be better
Cleveland isn't going to get a scheduled NBC game. Not mad, seems like a safe pick. I would went a different direction. Maybe Cleveland with Sanders, people would be interested in seeing what he can do. Most people look at this game we will turn it off by halftime because Philly is thst good.
You do know Cleveland doesn't play the Eagles right? Not mad, seems like a safe pick. I would went a different direction. Maybe Cleveland with Sanders, people would be interested in seeing what he can do. Most people look at this game we will turn it off by halftime because Philly is thst good.
Seattle plays at home week 1 because the Mariners are on the road.I hope Seattle opens against Washington or Jacksonville. Let's get flying to one of the states at the ass end of the Country out of the way in week 1.
I didn't think they would do a division game. I was thinking Houston.
Chiefs vs. Chargers in Brazil
I do think Seattle goes to Washington on MNF. But I don't think that will be simulcast, but in one of the double-header weeks. I think it's to appease Washington though. I have Washington/KC as one of the four simulcast MNFs.Oh I'm sure the the NFL will kick off the season and make us play a Monday night game in Washington, then a Sunday game in Jacksonville, and then a Thursday game against a division rival...
Seems about par for the course.
