He is certainly a top tier MLB. Whether he is the best or the 3rd best is largely irrelevant.

The Seahawks defense was dramatically better with him on the field last year.

He is paid as the best because he signed his contract before Keuchly who will likely get paid somewhere in the same ballpark.

I do think that Wagner is one of the elite MLBs in football today. He gets overshadowed a bit because of the guys in the secondary but he is a vital player for us.

That's what I was looking for....

I think CJ Mosely will be one of those special players as well but he has a couple years til then I hope the Ravens bring Ray Lewis in to teach him... Doubt it though.

Sometimes our mLBs are overshadowed by our rush LBs be of sacks and such.

Bowman (when healthy) would easily make this list. Mosley & Alonso are worthy but I need to see more.

IMO he's a top three guy, but I wouldn't argue with anyone who has him in the top five. At that tier the differences are so minuscule it comes down to style, system, and other intangibles.
