They were so excited when the first OTA's and the preseason power rankings came out. Without a single game played, they seemed unusually confident by their unearned pre season ranking.

Now that the season has started, reality will begin to take shape....

Yeah, the comparison of TEs is ridiculous. The difference between them is quite marginal.

Now there is a much larger gap between the QBs, but Breaker doesn't want to talk about that.

Is the TE difference minimal? <MIller, big salary, needs replacing, Willson, take the spot>

SF fans, a few of them on the boards, stated how proud they were that baalke snatched the TE the Seahawks wanted, when all along the Seahawks were scouting Rice for Willson, not VMcD. Imagine that.

Imagine just that image, breaker99..stupor, the Seahawks wanted Willson, and all along you freaks thought we wanted McD.

Butt hurt much? That says it all. I was a big time fan of the 49ers during their SBOWL run. I even wanted the 9ers to win to get NFC West credit, but no....... 49ers fans have to be whiney butt hurt punks. Some of you sound like Breaker when you think we are comparing TE's. Breaker thought we were comparing TE corps.
I thought this was a fun topic to razz our rival with. SF was up against the cap last year and let DW walk. They needed a replacement and reached for VM in the 2nd round. A few SF posters, most notably Stouper aka Breaker99 laughed at us stating they took the TE we coveted right out from underneath us.

In reality, it was Luke Willson we wanted and got him in the 5th round. Now that we are over half way through their rookie season, it is Willson who looks like a 2nd round prospect while VM looks to be a 5th rounder.

Some Hawk fans picked up on the vibe and some didn't

Yes, in Wlison's one loss he led his offense to 28 points and has come through in the clutch consistantly.

In Kaps three losses his offense has AVERAGED 6 points!!! Not to mention crumble when his team gets down.

Kap has only two players that he has tossed to for TD's in VD and Boldin,some say it is the WR's not able to get open etc i dunno about that from what i have seen.

Yeah, Kaep may not have a great supporting cast, but if he were a great passer, I would think that he'd be to be more effective with back-shoulder throws and throwing his WRs open, etc. As a passer this year, Kaep's has been mediocre, at best.
